Thanks man, I love the Dynamo in it's original form, it's a classic, beautiful road bike. I think both ours work equally well, just really happy to see your Dynamo looking like it did in '93. Awesome.

Thank you so much for that :D it's much appreciated that people comment my bike so kindly, I bought it from new (well, off a member of the Orange MTB team in '93 (for £650) and it was essentially brand new when I did) and it's been my favourite bike ever since, I've ridden it 20 thousand miles...

I keep looking at it and it's kinda growing on me... slowly! :)

Sort of finished my bike if anyone is still following this thread... Still need to tape the bars. Been out on it a few times, feels great after a bit of tinkering and a £15 pot of carbon paste, surprisingly super-smooth compared with it's previous incarnation. Did everything myself apart from...

Just took the original forks out, look in good condition. Date stamped 03/93.

Thanks again cce :) I ordered the Cane Creek am going to order the Minimals later... and the carbon expander and the shim to fit the stem and the shim for the handlebars... Modern sizing is an expensive pastime. On another annoyingly Dynamo-specific note... I still have the original Orange...
