Anyone know what year this m600 cannondale was made??

Re: I came across this old topic. That's a 1992 bike. The M800 was a Beast Of The East idd. Not sure if this M600 was one too. Looks like it has the elevated bottom bracket on the pic. If the bottom bracket has the same height as the axes of the wheels, it's definitely a Beast Of The Easte...

    KARMA - Cannondale M2000 Frame

Nice bike! I had the same back in the nineties. Btw, this is a 20" frame, not 18".

    1991 Raleigh Tomac Signature

I meant on a 1991 bike in the bike stores. A bike you could really buy. And yes, you could buy XTR in late 1991. On the first 1992 bikes... :-D New technology is always first used in competition. Makes perfect sense.

    1991 Raleigh Tomac Signature

I never said Tomac was not riding XTR in late 1991. I sad you could not buy XTR during the competition season. XTR was released starting in october 1991. Smartass...

    1991 Raleigh Tomac Signature

Perfect build. Though I immediately noticed that XTR could never have been on a 1991 bike. Not that it matters a lot though. I remember this bike was very expensive back then, although it did have some relatively cheap Tioga parts. Oh, and another thing: you can not imagine chasing Ned, Tinker...

    1991 Cannondale SE2000 find

Very nice! Very cool bike. How much did you pay if I may ask? I have the same, with a few marks on the paint, but with all parts in nearly new condition.

    Panasonic MC6500 Japanese steel

Re: Nice find! Even the hubs look nice and shiny. How about the shifters? I had Deore DX on my first Cannondale, but the shifters didn't work very smooth after a while anymore. They did not seem to like dirt. Haha. I changed them to Deore XT thumbshifters, which I liked a lot more.

    1991 Cannondale SE2000

I am from Oudenaarde. Haha, I remember I saw one as a 13 year old on a language summer camp at the coast. I was quite impressed. I also saw one at a mountainbike happening in my region, one or two years later. The second one had a Rock Shox instead of the Pepperoni. Made sense. It is a bit an...

    1991 Cannondale SE2000

Eventually I will sell it one day, but there is no rush. I want to keep it in the shape it is in for now. All parts work like new, so that's great.

    1991 Cannondale SE2000

Small update. Well, not much to mention actually. Nothing has changed. This bike hardly drove 75 km in the almost six years since I got it. No mods have been done. Just cleaned it a few months back, since it is only in my garage catching dust. I did drive it max 20 km, a female friend of mine...

    Cannondale M1000 1991 Build ( Cannondale 1MB )

Re: I know it's for sale. That's how I ended up in this topic. :-) Not much response?

    Cannondale M1000 1991 Build ( Cannondale 1MB )

Re: Just some more info. The headset looks 1" to me, so it is a pre 1992 frame. And SM, not M, as someone told. It definitely is a Beast of the East, but in the colors of the SM1000. So not original painting? The difference between the SM1000 and the 1MB were the decals. The first had black...

    1991 Cannondale M700

Great bike. And a 1992 model idd. The 1991 version had 1" Ritchey forks (instead of the 1"1/4 Pepperoni). And the clamps for the seatpost were welded on the frame in 1991.

    1989 Raleigh Montage *UPDATED*

People expect Shimano Deore LX when they read this, but Shimano Exage 300 LX was a lot cheaper back in those days. Nice retrostuff though. ;)

    1991 Cannondale SE2000

120 €. The former owner posted this bike on a general website for secondhand stuff, got over 250 views, but only one bid ... mine. :D Sale started at 250 €, went to 200 € and to 150 € and then I put my bit at 100 €. The owner answered that 120 € would do, and I said OK. I asked this...
