Re: Hey...thats defo an 18". Had one the same in 93, and it was fast but harsh as hell with the evolution headset and Pepperoni's up front. Lovely condition tho. Do it...worth the round trip in my opinion

Hey all. First post on the post 98 forum so here goes. Bagged me a used Ragley Bagger frame on Pink bike just after Xmas, and set about building it tonite. All parts except the 44mm headset used from my recently sold Turner 5 Spot DW, so a cheap easy hardtail build. Actually really impressed...

Re: I grovelled up that stoney climb after 1 lap of a winter series race 93 ish, into a block headwind and driving rain...and climbed off and went back to the car! It was the last time I rode Woodbury ever...haunts me to this day :facepalm:

Morning all. Rummaging thro some old gear at the weekend and found this. Taken circa 91/92 down at Woodbury Common during a race series. Piloting my Trek 7000, complete with stripped paint finish, and 17" hyperlites...oooh I can feel the twitchy sketchy handling already! Raced here with Raidan...

Re: Exactly! Fast forward a few decades and your getting your kicks from a steel bike...that has probably still got better performing brakes than the Mini!!

Re: Looking sweet. I can't take any credit for the good condition as all it did was gather dust in the deluxe cave...aka garage! I have an 89ish stumpy also, and to be honest this felt very similar despite the lower spec. I know we all crave the exotica, but in reality most of us cut our MTB...

Specialized Hardrock 17.5" circa 89 if my fading memory recalls. Needs an inner gear cable and its ready to roll. Good pub bike condition...95% OG. Free if you can collect from Wellington Somerset. Dibs if interested. Ciao

Re: Pretty sure they were decals but clear lacquered over the top as they had a definite"depth" to them when stroked! I would avoid changing anything paint wise...just ride it with the O.G. paint and admire the envious looks, from all the more common brands out there! That sounds like some...

Re: Hello Nice find there. I bought a new in 89 SL tubed version of your frame. It was £290 retail and came with a fully chromed fork and half chromed rear stays. Forks were embossed crown too, but had the red seat tube decals unlike yours. Built with mainly Campag Athena it was a lovely ride...
