    Marzocchi crowns - how swappable??

Ah okay, so the physical measurements between the stanchions should be the same regardless of which Bombers they are? I was thinking it might be easier to locate a whole new crown and steerer at a reasonable price rather than having to bend over for the cost to get a new one fitted. I think...

    Marzocchi crowns - how swappable??

Firsty, apologies if this isn't in quite the right place, but seeing as I'm talking about forks approx 9-12 years old they seemed retro ;) I've got a set of Bomber Z5Flylights, the red ones - I think they're from 99 or 2000. I need to get a new steerer for them as the one they came with is a...

    some old skool MBUK mags...

Hi all, Down at the folks' this week clearing out the attic, and I came across an old collection of MBUK I'd boxed up years ago. From what I can see it runs between 1992 and 96. Also found the calendars from 1995 and 1996 in there, some of the 'Works Bikes' pictures, and a load of the MBUK...

what do you think about when riding?

Just now I think about what the hell is up with the missus, in a total huff, not speaking at all and refusing to talk about things, what have I done.... Usually good on long climbs as it refocusses my frustration into something positive.... then I start thinking maybe its time to move out, am I...

Just want to say a big thanks...

It was a really good weekend away, although I'm deffo taking at least a hardtail next time! Fully rigid was a bit mental. The routes are great, long enough to keep you going but not so long you can't get a few decent laps of them all in. The boardwalk through the trees fairly makes you...

Just want to say a big thanks...

.... to my good mate John, who managed to persuade me to join him for some weekend punishment in the mud at Laggan. :D ran out of time (and money ahem) to build up the full susser, so it was tackled on the CinderCone before it gets SingleSpeeded. Oh did I mention its a rigid?? Its the...

My dog's having her first period!!!

We also had our 17 month old boy Dane done when he was quite young, its kept him quite puppyish temperament-wise. He's a big mofo now though! about 11 1/2 stone and 38 inches tall (to his shoulder)! 8)

My dog's having her first period!!!

Our Great Dane girl goes quiet too when she's in season, prolly just one of those things. You might laugh at this but we use Tenalady incontinence pants on her, saves a whole lot of mess, just cut a hole for the tail and she's good to go! Don't think they do them small enough for your terrier...

    mousemat, anyone know him?

More good dealings here too. Last thing I'd heard from Phil was he's having to work overseas at the moment covering for a colleague who's off long term. I bought a frame off him and was more than happy to wait for a few weeks for it to co me so I wouldn't worry too much at the moment.
