Yep, consensus seems to be 1999 model - not sure where I got '97 from! Got it listed on ebay and on here and hoping to get about £300-£350 so good to hear I'm not in completely the wrong ball park! Anyone interested let me know! Thanks guys

I saw yours yesterday actually - looks great! Thanks for the advice on the forks. Z2s would have been ideal for keeping it period but I couldn't find any with a long enough steerer. Just bought the mx comps - they can be reduced to 80mm with a spacer and it sounds like that would be a good idea...
