    Co-Op bikes

I have recently acquired a CWS tandem frame, but having spent quite a lot of time trawling through the various images on the www, have yet to see one either in an advert, or a photo of one. Head badge is a simple brass diamond shape, and the frame has braze-ons for a trivelox rear gear, but...

    SKS Rennkompressor, Review And Modifications.

I have found a source of supply; Zyrofisher is able to supply the 40mm washer required - which they have done. So my pump is up and running again. Brilliant and helpful service: can’t praise them highly enough. www.zyrofisher.co.uk

    SKS Rennkompressor, Review And Modifications.

I have been fascinated by this post. I have an aged pump which looks identical to the last picture in this thread (thanks Gazelleer) but I have been unable to obtain a new main pump washer for it. Its internal diameter is 38.1mm. Does anyone have any idea of a source? After 30-ish years it’s the...

    SKS Track Pump Spares

Hi all. I have an aged SKS steel-tubed track pump with an ID of 38.1mm. Sadly the main plunger washer has finally given up. SKS is unable to supply a replacement washer. Does anyone know of a source of something suitable? Thanks in advance, Chris

    Holdsworth Frame Numbering

Original purchaser was apparently a Ted Goodsall from Tunbridge Wells. Bought new in 1934. My father had it in 1945, saved half up for it with pocket money, and the other half with birthday money. He changed the bars from the original for a slightly deeper drop. And yes, it appears to be a...

    Holdsworth Frame Numbering

There's no way this will be 'split'. I need to get the saddle repaired, but other than that I also still have the CL pedals, and the (as far as I can tell from photos of Dad riding it) the original Bluebells mudguards and pump. I think, at some time waaaaaay back in the past the bottom bracket...

    Holdsworth Frame Numbering

Re: Holdsworth numbering I have my Father’s pre-war Holdsworth. It was a birthday present on his 11/12th birthday, in around 1941/2, second hand. It is believed to have been part of an export order which was never sent, just pre-war, and the lamp bracket on the left fork blade seems to confirm...

Holdsworth Professional - help gratefully received

Re: Dating a Holdsworth; pics attached. Four pics of Dad's bike, which is still ridden on a regular basis. I actually met Jack Lauterwasser, designer of the bends on the bike. Nice old chap. Hope some of this aids 'those in the know' to unearth a bit more info about the bike. Thanks for any...

Holdsworth Professional - help gratefully received

Re: Holdsworth Serial numbers I have owned my Father's bike for the past twenty years. It is a 'Worthy' Holdsworth, bought second-hand in 1945. It's believed to have been built pre-war, and also believed to be from Accles and Pollock tubing, though we're not 100% sure on that. If that is so...
