    Finally I have finished to restored my Alan from TEKA cycling team, from 1989 season. It is a Alan R/30 model, with special oversized tubes, 27,2 mm diameter. An original and complete Mavic groupset, minus original Simplex seatpost and Look pedals (Teams didn't use 646 pedals).

    Tyres are Vittoria Open Corsa. I like very much Benotto tape, but celeste ribbon Ambrosio tape is good option.

    Re: Re: Yes, I replaced the original black alloy chainrings bolts and put steel. And finally I put a 9 speed chain, because it works better with 53/39 setup. Koolstop pads initially squeal working on paris roubaix rims, I had to sand it a lot and a few kms later the noise become to disappear.
