RB, I looked into is ages ago (both frames and bikes) and I hit much the same hurdle with shipping cost. However, I know a few that have, so I assume there must be ways and means of doing it cost effectively.

Hey Steve, I have a set of 3x AC skewers with faded anodisiing. Your painting yours has given me some ideas! However, I've not tried yet, but how did you remove those little rubber knobs in the nut end of the skewers? Do they just pull out in one piece? Cheers.
