    Joe Waugh year of manufacture?

Re: I see, thank you for your answer. The thing is that I don't think I could fit 28mm tires in the frame, but it has eyelets for mudguards so it's not a full out race frame but not a tourer exactly either so I was wondering. Maybe Dave Yeats will shed some light on the subject... As you can...

Re: Aditional question while waiting for a reply. Does anyone know what a single set of bottle cage mounts means in terms of bike category? i.e a touring bike or race bike? It occured to me that this is my first frame without 2 sets of water bottle mounts... Thank you

    Joe Waugh year of manufacture?

I sure hope it was built by Dave Yeats (as in I know of his reputation as a frame builder), but with my luck the the shop closed down last year and now there is no way of knowing for sure... What makes you believe that it is a Yates built frame? Any hints? Or are you referring to the (disputed...

Re: Thank you for your reply. The bike is not mine yet I was just wondering if it's worth it i.e. is it a high quality frame or just generic... My other options are a Cannondale caad2 M300 or Sunn 1000... I need to move quick so if someone more knowledgeable in vintage mtbs would chime in that...

    British unknown tourer? Identification help

True on all accounts...I was just curious, never had a bespoke bike before and it had me puzzled why would someone take the trouble of stamping the BB shell with the size of the bike but no serial number of brand name at all? (there is a G=60 marking on the bb)
