    The same as your 1st repair. 2.4mm tungsten, pre heated the crack with a blowtorch then just 1 pass with the old tig. Will prob crack again but it'll do for a while.

    Re: 2011 msc f5 unsuccessful repair (update) Thanks, ye I removed the pinch bolts, then removed the 6mm Allen bolt, but still couldn't get it out. Are the two big red end caps threaded in aswell? Tried to turn them but they just turned on the spot.

I thought it would just be a case if taking off the end cap and firing the axle through with a hammer but...
