    A few more upgrades today. Gone for a Thomson Elite layback post. Stainless bolts And a little mud :-) That's about it I think, for now at least. I'm very happy with it.

    My BETD linkage is great. Should be for the price though. But my original was shot to bits. That and the air shock is a huge improvement. Only thing is the Manitou shock loses air all the time. But a few seconds to top it up is not the end of the world. All round, very happy.

    A few upgrades to mine this year, all done and rolling again. Very happy. i'll think about a frame and form respray in the spring, but we'll see.

    All upgrades done, rides very nicely indeed. very happy with the result. Just need to find a load of stainless bolts as mine look a bit rough and rusty, and consider a respray in the spring.

    I think it's the perspective of the photo. In that picture it does look kind of front heavy, but side on it doesn't. The handling is also fine.

    Another update. Thanks to Kult Friction on the forum I now have a nice pair of Mavic wheels and XT brakes all round. I've also fitted a pair of Specialized Ground Control 26x2.1 tyres. Looking forward to getting it dirty at the weekend. Pics to follow.

    All working and in daily use again. Single speed conversion done, 42t and 18t Just enjoying sing the bike again at the moment, might put some semi road tyres on it as I'm only going offroad on the odd occasion. Still need a decent rear shock. But mine is ok until I find one.

    Just trying to get it roadworthy for now. Might go for a total respray in the spring. The whole bike is very chipped and scraped.
