    Help me identify this bike?

Re: Hi, thanks for the info. I stripped the frame, and am slowly collecting the parts I need. It's on bit of a back burner at the moment as cash flow is a bit tight at the moment. I've got bars, brakes and levers, currently sorting head set bearings and bottom bracket bearings. Wheels will be next.

    Claud Butler 1940's bike

Hi, Could you post some pics up of the frame? I'm currently trying to indentify what I believe to be a 1940's Claud Butler. Was the serial number on a rear dropout? Chris.

    Help me identify this bike?

Done some more hunting and it seems the rear dropouts are for an Osgear set-up, see more info here: http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/de ... ar-hs.html This pretty much dates the frame at least from the 50's, if not older. Just to find the maker now.

Thought they might be, but I've currently got Jalco DRX2000's which are shot. They seem to get pretty favourable reviews. Currently waiting on a set of RS30's to finish on eBay.

    700c wheel set, around £100+ p&p.

As above, not after anything too special, just something like Shimano R501 or Fulcrum Racing 7's. got £100 to spend plus £15-20 for postage. Just after an upgrade from the naff budgets that came with my Bianchi.

    Help me identify this bike?

Had another look at the bike today. It was renovated by Frederick H Pratt, but unsure when. The serial number on it is either 845255 or 843255, as the 3rd digit has had an eyelet crazed over it.

    Help me identify this bike?

It looks like a Raleigh symbol - doesn't look original though. The rear dropouts look far to fancy for Raleigh? I'll get a picture.

    Help me identify this bike?

Hi all, Trying to find the manufacturer of this bike. Unsure of the age, looks like late 50's - early 60's? Very light. 'British Built' and the letters LS on the BB. Has serial numbers on the LH rear dropout, I'll add these soon. Has vertical and horizontal rear dropouts. Seems as though it...
