Well, its been just over a year since I started the strip down and restoration of my bike, but it finally finished. Managed to get these pictures of the final result just before it started raining, Bike is safely inside now! Thank you to all who gave advice on here, its been much appreciated.

Finally got the frame back, and I'm really happy with it!

Forks are back and have been fully stripped and re-built. Frame will be ready within the next 2 weeks! Then it wont be long until the fun starts and I can get the full bike built up!

Frame is now in the paint shop too! Colour chosen is RAL 3004 which is a match to the original rear section of the frame, but will be sprayed totally in this colour. I cant wait to get it back

Ok, I have made the decision to take the frame to be powder coated at Yorvik Engineering in York but I am undecided about the colour! Should I go for the original two tone fade (not sure they will get a good match to original colour), or should I go for the whole frame in the burgundy colour...

Think they will be part elastomer, part oil. TF Tuned or Dalby Suspension Centre are your best bet to get advice. Both very helpful. You can still get service parts from ebay - I got seals and bushings for a pair of 2003 Psylo's recently. They are a nice fork and worth saving!
