    Colnago Super 1981 rebuild

Thanks for the update. I guess I just tried to make it look like the Freddy bike - I know that it is not quite 100% right. Since the picture was taken I have managed to find the right saddle and a period bottle so its getting closer! Dave

    Campag Record pedal dust caps

I managed to find some of these through a colleague in Italy and now have a spare pair. Chrome plated plastic with Campagnolo branding, brand new, never fitted (remanufactured not NOS). Look just like the originals on Record and Super Record Pista and Superleggerra 4021 pedals. One pair...

Campag braze-on front mech clamp bolt and washer

    Colnago Super 1981 rebuild

Re: Colnago Super 1981 rebuild - up and running! Have just got back from my 1st ride on the Colnago. :D Really pleased, it handles and rides really nicely. Weighing just under 10kg (the bike not me in case you wondered) helps I suppose... Many thanks to all those on here who helped with the...

Very nice. What year is it do you know? Are you going to build it with period or modern components?

How long is too long (before asking for refund)?

!4 days is plenty of time! If you haven't already done so you will have a stronger case for any follow up if you give a 'final notice' stating what you intend to do and when. 24hrs would be reasonable to allow a reply at this stage.

    Pumps

Me too Shaun...they weren't all that good though, still got punctures... Here is a picture of the pump I bought to use on my racer in 1972(!) I'm still using it! Its a Spanish Eibar and it still works very well. The business end sits against the bottom bracket and the top fits into an umbrella...

Campagnolo 1052/1, Record How rare are these front mechs?

Re: Campagnolo 1052/1, Record How rare are these front mechs I think (though its difficult to be sure as I don't have all of the catalogues) that Campag used the same reference, 1052, from the introduction of the Record derailleur until they changed the numbering system in about 1983(see pic...
