I liked my Superlight, but I ended up getting a Giant Anthem and gave my SL to my son. It's a fun bike, light and a simple design, but not as 'plush' as other suspension systems.

What is the serial number on this? I did ride mine as a trail bike for a while....it was okay, but a tough beast to handle. I wish I left it as a DH bike, but I had broke my RTS and did not have a choice. I posted mine on facebook in your thread

I think so, it was the last year it was made in the USA. Santa Cruz would recommend the fork that was designed to use on the bike...for liability reasons.....the longer travel fork slackened the head angle for a more aggressive ride. I'm 6' and 215lbs....I jump and rode this bike aggressively...
