Just a suggestion but control tech should be a good alternative. Period correct and shouldn’t interfere with peddling. They do make similar aftermarket ones that are similar to control tech style. Photo is of one on eBay.

They have pinpointed what time the bonded cranks were affected and each crank has a serial Number on them. It’s posted online which ones were affected. I am a “big” rider and have not any problems with cranks after the serial Number period.
