Show me your 700C wheels in a 26" frame

Here is my Ibis 700c conversion. CX fork in front and 26" to 700c canti bracket in rear. Tires are 700c x 40 but with skinnier road bike tires you should be able to almost match the circumference of your knobbies.

    oil dampened Manitou Three

I am in the process of rebuilding a Manitou Three and found that the left skewer assembly has a small oil filled shock. Obviously this was an aftermarket upgrade. I wanted to see if anyone could tell me a little more info regarding this and whether or not it is worth keeping.

    Retro 29ers/700c MTBs?

Tough to find a true retro 29er but take a look at the singular peregrine set up with flat bars. I know that this is a new bike but it has a retro look. You end up with a lugged 29er with disc brakes and a classic mountain bike look for a lot less than custom. For a semi custom retro looking...

Yes it is. Currently the legs for my parts monkey. I also have one of his scorcher bars waiting for the right bike to make a scorcher tribute.

WTB dirt drop RM-3 "ibis bend"

Girlonbike that is a nice SS. Can you tell me what the clamp diameter is on the RM-3? Here are the RM-1's mounted on mine. Obviously I need to tape and replace the cables.

WTB dirt drop RM-3 "ibis bend"

I would love to get my hands on a set of these for my mojo build. I am currently running the RM-1's but would like to try the "ibis bend" for obvious reasons. Thanks.

    1994 Ibis Titanium Mojo

So I have the bike built up and rideable. So far this has been a total parts bin build. But I have just ordered some new cables and picked up some bar tape. I also got some moon units that I have yet to install. Alright now for some of the details. I converted this bike from 26" to 700c rims...

Paul Comp brakes & levers available in 90's anodized colors

Came across these while building up my newest ride. Not cheap but i love Paul's brakes.

    1994 Ibis Titanium Mojo

Mounted the brakes and fork last night. As you can see below I am using Paul's touring canti's. I also included a screen grab from http://www.aspirevelotech.com/ showing some limited edition anodized Paul's brakes and levers. I just spent too much on some vintage faded stoplights otherwise I...

    1994 Ibis Titanium Mojo

In the shop right now. I put a Robert Davis iron duke conversion in and blew the half shaft, as expected. After taking too long to put in 24 spline axles and a locker, the carb is gunked up and there was water in the oil. So I will try and sort that out. When it was running it turned a few...

    1994 Ibis Titanium Mojo

I have a 1967 series IIa, somewhat rare here in the states, that I need to get back on to as well. Too many projects and not enough time.

    1994 Ibis Titanium Mojo

The headset is on this one is 1-1/8", I believe that they made the switch beginning in 1994. I have a '93 steel Xtra Mojo that still has a 1" threaded headset and fork.

    1994 Ibis Titanium Mojo

Here is my new acquisition from fellow Retrobiker Klasse. Pardon the garden gnome I had to take the pic in the yard since the shed is now beyond capacity with bikes. I am going to build this up with modern components, at least for the time being, and see how I like it. Obviously I will stick...
