No clue about my old bike brand Need help to figure it out!!

Re: From the chain wheel & fork design it appears to be a circa 1950s Humber, likely made by Raleigh who owned most of the brand names at the time.

Wheelies - Who can do them ?

Re: Built a wheelie bike hack over the summer to practice on, managed about 10 metres max so far! Perhaps the darker evenings will now help as the kids won't be able to see me in the park!

Re: Thanks spud, not had much time on this today as been working till late. The Japanese google translation would tie up with what it said on the Fuji website. Also I've just found this !

    Can anyone read Japanese?

Re: Thanks Retro spud, that's a help to unravel the mystery. Attached Pic of the other side for interest, it's a Rudge badge but now we have a connection to Fuji I can dig a little deeper. Interestingly that timeline on the Fuji website shows a Rudge bicycle on the 1935 bit, the hand on the...

    Specialized & Scott Framesets

Time for a clear-out of projects I am not going to get round too. Specialized Hardrock, 17" frameset. Seatpost is stuck, but I haven't tried to remove it, but it looks like it'll free off easily enough. £25 Scott Purgotory, this is a large 22" BB to to of seat tube. £10 (or if you buy the...

    I seem to have bought.....

Re: I've not been to any of their events, but the dealings I have had with some of their 'marque specialists' & library have all been helpful. You do get about 10 magazines from them a year, which have got some good articles in & also small adds. Personally I've found its worth the £25...

Re: Nice interesting bike, its a slippery slope though with these vintage bicycles! I now have 5 pre-war bikes, where as just about 2 years ago I had none  I've also joined the Veteran Cycle club! Here's my not quite latest aquistion, a 1938 Rudge Light Tourist
