Yes it’s an excel. It had dura-ace everything on it. But yes the sticker does look like an add on.

Re: Yes it's got '89 giro rep decals all original. But haven't seen another in 531c and checked everywhere for serial numbers but there are none.

Re: Apparently may have been a personal build in the frame shop for their own use. Running 19mm speci rubber. Still quite a fast ride today!

Hi. I'm running early 80's Super-Record hubs with a screw on 6 speed free wheel. Does anyone know if a 7 speed will fit straight on or are ther deeper? Cheers.

Re: Raleigh Castorama frame query???? Yes it was an ebay whim that I couldnt really afford but this pic sold it to me. Luckily it all polished up as well as I hoped! Everything but the chrome taper nut on the brake spindle. Are these nuts still available?

Re: Raleigh Castorama frame query???? Well paint looks original inside and out. Has a slight pearl to the white which I think was right back then from memory (although that's fading faster than the paint these days) No other id anywhere?
