Is the performance between the two noticeable? I currently use the sl-m740's and I prefer the fact that they have the numbers on the indicator windows compared to the sl-m950's. So would I see a big enough improvement to make up for this downside (for myself atleast) of the XTR 8 speed shifter...

Anyone got one, or if possible, two of these lying around? I've got the juicy ultimates but the pad contact adjuster on the lever, which is altered using an allen key on this model, isn't working. I took the lever apart and turns out the threads on them have been ruined! That's why the adjuster...

I bled my avid juicy ultimates today and everything was OK until I got up to the lever. As I started pulling on the syringe to pull any our out of the lever and the system, whilst pulling the brake lever a few times as directed to in the instructions, air seemed to just flood through. Thanks for the advice. I gave it a rest for a couple of hours then went back out to take another look. Turns out the wheel was actually extremely straight, i did a better job than I thought. But those lose spokes were still there, and I don't feel comfortable leaving them. And if I start...

OK, so I gave it a go this afternoon at straightening me wheels. The front wheel went really and is virtually perfect. The back one however is harder and has brought up some problems. It was worse than the front to start with, with it bending one way and then the other in three or four places...
