The wheels are mavic GP4 rims with shimano 600 tricolour hubs and skewers. The original continental giro tubs are still on the wheels and show little signs of wear (although the front is punctured). They have only covered approximately 500-1000 and this was in the first year of use some 24 or so...

The headset has race type bearings that are contained securely within their own housing and not loose.They can be removed from their housing allowing the removal and replacement of worn bearings. The bearings and headset are immaculate and rotate smoothly with no resistance.
