I think they have a torque limiter on the front brake, maybe its that that is causing it?

Some frame need an offset rear wheel, I've never seen an offset front wheel however...

THanks all, I actually found that the newer levers are also a little lumpy in the wrong places, so I've stick with the older lever and filed it away a little. :)

Hi, is it possible to use a newer style Hope brake lever with my old pre-mono era M4 caliper? I've recently installed a funny gear shifter on my handlebars, and the lump coming out of the hope lever it blocking the shifter. :(

Well, if the cup is the only difference then that's good news. I managed to pick up a 68mm shell 127mm UN55, and ground the lip off the non drive side cup. I then installed the BB and all seems good, chainline is bang on and my crank arms clear the chainstays. I know it's a bit of a bodge, but...

It seems Shimano no longer make a BB with these dimensions, so if anyone has any kicking around then I'd be happy to take it iff your hands. Cheers :)

I need a square taper bb with a 127mm spindle and 73mm wide shell. Does anyone know of one? I'm trying to get a 55mm chainline and the cranks I'm using say that a 44mm chainline is achieved with a 118mm spindle
