Have recently dismantled bb on my raleigh banana.As suggested on previous posts there doesn't,t appear any pitting on cups, bearings all in one piece but grease the consistency of rancid butter.It would appear that movement in bb was due to poor adjustment caused by lack of adjustable cup lock...
