well i must say, you've got a pretty half decent mavic ssc groupset on your hands. If it was me, i'd ditch the gran compe brake calipers and start looking for mavic/modolos. those da brakes would get you towards some mavic ones. mavic used modolo to manufacture their brakes and levers but...

i just got my hands on the 1995 mavic cosmic wheelset. its currently 9 speed shimano but i got a campagnolo freehub and will try and convert it to campy. i'm not sure of the frame but from 75, i'd say it would be 126mm? with mavic hub with campy freehub would be 130mm. 2mm on each side...
