So they've just got the wrong legs then, as my XL's were eggplant and my friends XLC's were grey. Never noticed a difference in upper legs, always wondered what the difference was!

Can't help on the shock, but I'd be amazed if it ran a 190mm shock, my 2001 octane FX1 ran a 190! The head angle is adjustable. Just undo it and turn it 180 degrees for +\-1 degree off the top of my head.

If those are the original lowers then the forks are XLC's not XL's. Precious little difference mind.

You'd also be crazy to consider mozo pro's, Jesus, mine were terrible even in 97 I dread to think how they'd ride today! Never a patch on my mates Judy XC long travels, and when he put speed springs in them... Wow!

Is this still for sale? Been dying to get hold of an on-one gimp which I rode back in 2000 but keep missing them, had a Dark Angel in '02 and it's the next best thing! Happy to pay the £45 for it to be posted. Ryan
