Thanks, yeah I got the gist of how the wrench works but I'm impressed you got it to work as the lock ring is reeally narrow. Worth a try I guess for the cost of a cheap tool. Is it normal thread?

I can get a 185 rotor if that helps? Thanks for the advice on the strap wrench, looking at them online, not sure how I'd manage to use it on the lockring? What's the method? Cheers

Hi, I'm sorry I can't help you out with a rotor as I run 160's myself. There was a selection of different sized 5 bolt rotors on ebay a couple of weeks ago. Not much use to you now though I'm afraid. I was wondering though do you have the tool for removing the lock ring? I have 1 rear hub...
