They're the poor mans shamals!! Hopefully i've managed to convince the bank manager that the new seatpost is "essential equipment" and it'll shave at least 30 seconds per mile!!
I know it would but the bank manager (read girlfriend) says i've spent too much already! i think i may need a shorter stem also, 130mm is just a bit too stretched on longer rides! aaah but i do really want it! damn you sir!!
this would have been finished today if the rear mech i bought from eBay wasn't bent! oh well! anyone with a silver campag 10 speed rear mech going for cheap!
With a few more parts< she's going to my LBS to have the BB fitted and for a final tune up
Frame: Ribble 531C, columbus dropouts
Fork: Ribble 531C
Headset: Shimano
Stem: 3T Quid
Handlebar: 3T
Bar Tape:
Brake Levers/Brifters: Campagnolo Veloce
Brake Calipers: Campagnolo Chorus...
it's a legal requirement for all new bikes to have full reflectors when sold, there's no law against taking them off as soon as you get out of the shop though!!
Here's my latest project, A 1993 Ribble, 531C tubing with Columbus Dropouts
Planet X Wheelset, Ribble seatpost and Shimano 105? headset.
the plan is full campag, although not period correct!
sorry about the rubbish photo!!
Hi everyone,
i'm looking for some 10 speed campag components for my latest project, i need pretty much everything (cassette, shifters, mechs, brakes) preferably in silver! i don't mind a little bit battered!!
Thanks
