I am guessing this one would be late 80s. I am pretty sure that moving to the wishbone rear stays came from me. This bike would be a couple years earlier than the one from Coquitlam Geoff. Very cool indeed.

There is an earlier generation. It looks like the first generation but the top piece isn't beveled.

I think the brodie frame/fork and stem is nice but I don't dig the build. I like Rumpfy's bonty, the Salsa and the rainforest Clien. Keep 'em coming!

Have a thought for poor John when considering increasingly convoluted voting methodologies! Sometimes I go back over the prior winning bikes and it is hard to argue with them even though from month to month there are usually more than a couple strong contenders.

Is that your opinion as an engineer? By certain type of bike are you referring to rare and cool?

My unicorns: DB Manitou road bike early Off Road Toad Rocky Mountain - Tantalus, Wedge WTB/Trek Team Mantis Valkyrie EC (not so rare, I know)
