thanx for the replies. i even emailed Columbus and asked to which they replied that all should be fine just check it for corrosion cause the frame was made in the 90's. So the seller is holding it for me now.

I weigh 85kg and looking at a frame in a 54cm built with genius steel tubes from the 90's. Does anyone have experience or thoughts whether this would handle my weight as the frame only weighs just under 1500grams?
