    KHS Montana Team 1993

Re: Bit late to the KHS love off - haven't logged on for a year (!). I had Gil draw up the proper decals for the Silver '94 team bike for me a few years back. Just in case you decide to keep it silver  Don't think Gil has the earlier decals on file for the blue/pink bikes. Very cool...

    The MS Racing/alpinestars story.

Re: Nice find Rank_21. Very cool thing. I like the paint and the skinny tapered fork on these bikes a lot. Not so practical though - I've got a very bent fork from one of these in my garage :D

    Ritchey logic fork

Re: Good question - I don't have the frame in hand yet to measure the head tube. The steerer doesn't need to be massively long though. The frame is a 16" so the headtube is short. What have you got ?

Re: Would 26 x 1.5 do ? I have a pair of rims - perfect - look like they've never had a brake block on them.

    Orange c16r crumple-zone special

Re: Hope the wrist heals well. If you fancy building an exact replica of the C16rUSWB bike I have a C16R frame I'm not using that you can have for nowt. It does sound like a maraca when you shake it, mind ! Maybe not a great idea...

KHS Comp True Temper Ti color advice

Re: I think that's a '95 based on the paint. The pecking order is Comp > Pro > Team. This is my '95 team: Still true temper tubing - OX2 ultra for the pro and team, and AVR for the Comp. Your comp is a cool bike and well worth doing. I've thinned my KHS collection a bit lately but I'll...

    1985 Ritchey

Re: Thanks. Geometry is more 80's than it looks in last pic. The front end has quite a bit of rake. Hope I like riding it as much as I like looking at it !

Re: Probably not of interest to anyone - but there's a German ebay seller with new MKS pedals in silver, blue and red for OK money. Item number 262689703020 for the silver ones.

    What hi-end pedals?

Re: Re: Right now - none. I have allsorts stashed away but it will need me to have a fit of pique one day and decide to sell the lot before they go TBH. As Gruff said - Suntour. They're pretty pricey these days but VP still do something very similar for normal money. Think they're called VP...
