This is a rarely seen Merlin Cyclocross frame from the early 2000s. These were made in small quantities and only as custom orders.
I think it may have been an ex team bike .. Which might be why it has Litespeed decals as both companies had the same owner BITD.

It’s Triple S at Bingley.. £225 plus VAT for frame, fork and stem. Expensive, certainly. I really didn’t realise just how good armortex in London were … Shame they closed.
Ironically, I noticed the tube was sealed at the bottom and had concerns about water collection- so I drilled a drain hole though the BB as a precaution before I sent it to the paint shop. Seems I was right, but a few years too late
Apparently they assumed it was some sort of drain hole! They have offered to re-do the job after I get it sorted, but getting it brazed/welded seems overkill. I just want to seal the tube for now.
