Re: Just to say it's not too easy for Mat (Vimto) to drive any great distance or manhandle things into big boxes nowadays; hence the preference for the buyer collecting the bike.

1996 GT Zaskar LE 18" Polished - Price reduction!

Re: 1996 GT Zaskar LE 18" Polished For Sale I can vouch for this bike. Mat who owns it is a friend of mine (and I wrote the ad on his behalf). He was an XC whippet and used to leave us all for dead in the forest of dean back in the day. He was hopelessly slow descending though, no idea...

    SOLD 1998 Cannondale Saeco CAAD2 - Near New Condition - 56cm

Re: 1998 Cannondale Saeco CAAD2 - Near New Condition - 56cm That sounds great. I'm 6'0", I think a 56cm Cannondale is normally suitable for about 5'9" to 6'1", but obviously it's better just to ride it to be sure.

    SOLD 1998 Cannondale Saeco CAAD2 - Near New Condition - 56cm

Re: Re: Hi, it's 56cm c-c measuring along the centreline of the top tube as best I can measure. I don't think the geometry for CAAD frames has changed very much in the last 15 years!

new here still got my peugeout....

Those old brochures are great :D I've still got my Black Lion too. The bars and stem are suffering from some rust, but the rest of the bike is in fair condition. Is there a used market for these sorts of bike do you think? I've kept it for 25 years, but I think it really needs to go...
