Saracen Traverse (1989 Model) For Sale

It's still available-you only get 7 days on ebay :( I thought I'd advertise it directly on this site this time: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=639498 I will consider any reasonable offer for it. If anyone would like more pictures of any specific parts of the bike...

Saracen Traverse, 1989 Model, 20" Frame

I'm selling the Saracen, which was my first proper mountain bike, bought in early 1990 when I was a student. I am selling it now as I have a newer mountain bike. So I no longer have much use for this one and cannot spare the space for it. This bike was made in the day when Saracen only made...

Saracen Traverse on ebay - Ending at 9PM Tonight

You're quite right. I realised that I could in fact do that very thing today! So I added a small note to the description saying that I will be happy send it by courier for £20. In fact if it turns out to be a bit less, I may be able to reduce that postage cost by a fiver.

Saracen Traverse on ebay - Ending at 9PM Tonight

Yes, unfortunately it all went a bit pearshaped after the auction. I was checking it for the guy after the auction ended, then I slipped on some ice. So I had to get the bike repaired. Anyway, all the snow has gone (for the moment), so hopefully second time lucky.

Saracen Traverse on ebay - Ending at 9PM Tonight

No offence to the person who won this bike, as he/she won it fair and square, but I think the comments above echo how I feel about this too :( It seems to be a lot harder to sell things on ebay for a decent price using the auction format these days. I've had several items go for...

    Saracen Traverse 1989 Model

I have an early Saracen Traverse mountain bike (1989 model, bought in 1990), which I am reluctantly parting with - my first proper MTB :( I bought it as a student, as soon as I could finally afford a proper bike! Despite 3 years in Liverpool, the only thing that ever got nicked off it was...
