Sorry, should have googled. It is indeed a spindle length problem. These BBs are hard to find! I've ordered a 113mm. Hopefully that will suffice for a single chainring.

Hi all. I just got an octalink 1 BB Shimano ES300. Case is 73mm which I think matches my carerra quattro pro. But the right crank arm doesn't go on very far and it doesn't look right. Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks

Hi, This is a wanted plus maybe a bit of advice. I have this quite nice crank (see pic) but I believe it is Hollowtech 1, and the bottom brackets are quite hard to come by. Does anybody have a Hollowtech 1 BB for sale? Or would I be better ditching these cranks and going HT2? Thanks, Lee

Yeah that was me who repainted them. I tried very hard to mask everything, but paint goes where it wants! Closer picture. Not sure if the seals are seated correctly. I've not done anything with them since buying off eBay a couple of months ago. (Other than paint and ride)
