    The bassboat paint with clear coat is certainly more durable than the 2000/2001 anodized finish. Schwinn claimed a half pound weight reduction with the anodized.

    I'm really curious about the 19 inch Schwinn Moab 3 frame that I recently acquired (in the US). I'm wondering if this one might have been built for the European market. It appears to be a Moab 3 built by Schwinn in 2001. However, it doesn't have the same paint scheme as Moabs in the 2001...

    I have the same bike. It had been in storage until this July. Barely ridden and only a few storage nicks. Sweet ride.

    1997 Trek Y-33

    This bike may be ridden by "guests". Not my main ride. Collectors bike.....maybe for Tweed rides etc. The SPDs that were on the bike are the originals. They are old school....don't rotate....daunting for the un-initiated "guest".

    My "new" 1997 Y-33. Stock except for the Bontrager Race Lite carbon seat post, clamp and Maxxis Larsen TTs. Demo pedals will be replaced with aluminum flats. Also need a plusher seat.
