At over £400 why would you choose this over a towbar and thule rack? The racks can be moved out of the way with a bike on, so the boot can still be opened. I agree this would be more useful if you ever needed to carry a bike you weren't expecting to carry, but how often does that happen?

I sent a frame to denmark using Parcel2go (UPS) with out any problems at all. Cost under £50 (though I cant remember exactly how much).

What size are you? its an 18" I see your point. Do you think stripping and polishing will add the same value as a full respray? Or maybe somewhere in between? Thank you for the advice so far :)
