    MF courier 1987 build thread

Wow, this bike brings back memories. I became a Muddy Fox dealer in 1986 and sold a lot of these bikes. I think that I was the first MF dealer in the US.

    Vintage French randonneuer's and porteurs.

I purchased this Urago about a month ago. Unfortunately, one of the brake levers had been removed before I got the bike. Does anyone recognize the name on the clamp? More photos can be seen here https://fattiretrading.com/urago/ Thanks! Chris

Boulder Cycles Pairs Roubaix - full suspension (California)

This bike had not sold. It got relisted recently and I bought it. I plan to change at least the handlebar stem and tires. It turns out that the seller is the same person that I purchased my red Pro Cruiser that you see in my picture. I purchased the Pro Cruiser from him in the mid 1990s.

    Would you ride 150mm cranks?

In 1994, I was hit by a truck while riding my Cunningham. Although I was immediately repaired, the Cunningham frame still needs a new top tube, down tube, and fork. It’s since been replaced by another complete Cunningham. My worst injury was to my knee, which required open surgery, a few part...

Neat project! It was not made in 44, based on the kickstand alone, probably 47 or later.

Why weren't ATBs a development of BMX?

The relationship between ATBs (All-Terrain Bikes) and BMX is quite interesting and rooted in the evolution of cycling culture. While ATBs weren't a direct development of BMX, they were certainly influenced by BMX innovations. Growing up in San Rafael, I noticed that BMX didn't gain the same...

    FT 1987 Falcon Jaguar NOS

Hello, I have a Falcon Jaguar that has never been completely assembled. I think it is from 87. It has a 1987 Campagnolo Chorus Group. It has a 23" seat tube and a 22" top tube. It has a few small scratches that the new owner will probably want to touch up. It needs tires and a 7 speed freewheel...

Clunker Schwinn DX 1941 FINISHED page 8

Re: Schwinn DX '40 Clunker [need help page 5] Lots of people brazed on cantis in the rear. If you stick with the bladed Schwinn fork in the front. The clamp-on cantilever brakes that Schwinn made in the late 50s, is a good option.
