My found by accident Specialized Hard Rock 1991 (minter)

I don't think your an ass, I just think you were having a bad day and taking it out on an easy target..... Re the forks your right, of course the Canti's were a problem, bought a cable stop which helped, but I have since reverted to a V brake, I actually prefer the look of the rigid myself...

Funny how some people miss the point by so far, they end up on a different planet, that or choose to misunderstand/misinterpret another view to support their own POV Yes we would all love to own some polished, £2000 exotica but to some of us "value" takes on a wider meaning over and above the...

New Project 27inch 1980's rebuild (NOW FINISHED)

Frame fully stripped, cleaned, degreased and primed ready to go off to the painters, going to keep quiet about the colour until it comes back, as I could be committing a sin but colour is within reason down to my Mrs and Son, so hate it or love it, it will be what it is.........

New Project 27inch 1980's rebuild (NOW FINISHED)

Ok so I was a little concerned about the condition of the wheels, and after spending several more hours polishing other metal parts the time came to get to work on the wheels. While they are not perfect they turned out more than acceptable with a little work Also the new tyres turned up, just...

New Project 27inch 1980's rebuild (NOW FINISHED)

Thanks for the advice, as far as I can see there is very little pitting and the rust is just surface rust, I will test a section of the front wheel with chemical rust remover, metal polish and elbow grease, depending on the result, it's either new wheels or strip the wheel down to the bare rim...
