    Giant Peloton Superlite Campagnolo Stratos

Hey all, I am selling my 1994 (I think) 61cm Giant Peloton Superlite it is a really lovely bike, it handles brilliantly and is quite comfortable although not especially light by modern standards (about 9-10kg without pedals), it is a really lovely two tone metallic blue, but the photos arn't...

Very stiff shifts with early ergoshifters

I have campag 8spd mirage shifters with stratos derailers on my giant, I have only done about 1000 miles on it since I got it about 3 months ago and put new cables on. Down shifts on the back and up shifts on the front have become very stiff recently, the cables seem clean and the derailer...

    Colnago C40 Lampre Panaria Paris-Roubaix

Stunning! I would personally have gone for the silver Athena group to keep the more retro look, but that is absolutely beautiful.

My new baby (Giant Peloton Superlite)

I haven't been able to find the new parts to fix my shifters so replaced them with a pair Mirage shifters I had in the shed. Here it is with the new shifters and in winter setup.

My new baby (Giant Peloton Superlite)

That Speeder is very nice. What year is it? It does look very like the 91 version. I discovered some very faint stenciled marks on my rims. It would appear that they are Rigida SHP60 s. It would seem this bike is rammed full of fairly low end but rare kit.

My new baby (Giant Peloton Superlite)

Helpfully just after I set of on a ride this morning my right hand shifter stopped working, a bolt had gone loose within the hood and the inside of a plastic piece had rounded out. As a result I now need a new bit, it is the black plastic wheel which the gear cable sits in see page 8 of this...

My new baby (Giant Peloton Superlite)

To be fair, I am not the biggest fan of Giant as a company, but I do tend to judge bikes individually, and I fell for this as soon as I saw it despite it being right at the biggest end of what will fit me. I am so glad I did because it has not disappointed. It is also quite nice being on...

My new baby (Giant Peloton Superlite)

Thankyou for that! :D it is great to know a little more about it. Having looked at your bike I am now sure that you are correct and the whole group appears to be Stratos, the cranks aren't very pretty but it all works well. Your Duell is stunning by the way!

My new baby (Giant Peloton Superlite)

This is my new '94 (I think) Giant, I got it from itsafox of this parish and I love it, it is more or less mint except missing shifter hoods and some cosmetic rust on some bolts and spots of it coming through the chrome on the headset cups. It rides really nicely and has some really nice...

cheapest decent 1" steerer sus fork?

I dug out my MTB for the first time in ages yesterday (a Raleigh Firefly from around 10-12 years ago) and remembered what awesome fun riding trails is. the only problem was that the suspension fork seemed to if anything, make the the bumps more violent, with basically uncontollable...

    90s campag brake blocks

Howdy. I have some brakes (late 90s 8spd mirage group set)with pads much like the ones in this advertlink. I need to replace the pads but my lbs seem to know nothing about old kit or campag. would these fit? Or these? If not does anyone know what pads I am likely to need? and...

Anyone out on the road tonight?

Where abouts in Warwickshire are you? I drove home from a (rowing) race in worcester this evening, via Warwick uni campus to drop off a few guys, and then on to home near Rugby. I really wouldn't fancy going out on road bike on any of the roads I saw.
