    strange kinda fault

    same prob. I had the same problem a while ago, turned out to be a sticking front mech. After soaking it for days and cleaning it still did the same thing. Bought a new mech. Prob. solved! :D

    Re: dont do it No you're OK well at the moment anyway as I can't aford to go as far as a respray, but I do need th do the forks and a couple of bits to protect it. Do you realy think the pedals are orig though? Can't beleive it they are so cheap looking! Glad you like it though! :) :)...

    Hi Greg, I'm new as well, just found a Marin palisades and trying to find out info. What pedals are fitted to yours? Paint wise I would talk to your local paint wholesalers about cellulose (hope I've spelt that right)! They should have comprehensive colour charts for you to spend hours...

    Hi all, Just re-building an early palisades I think it's from about 88. Any ideas on what the corect tyres should be? Are they still available? or would a modern equivalent be much better? Any help appreciated. Cheers Steve :) :)
