I just looked and my 97 does have a chainsuck tab under the driveside chainstay. but no canti boss on the seat stays.

Hey, mine I'm sure is a 97 cuz the leafs are placed the same as on the red framed 97. I heard that Rocky made the white frame because there was outrage at the fact the blizzard was red. There is no canti boss or chainsuck tab (i have a 96 also)

Yah im narrowing it down to a hammer race with the double butted. 98. the shifters/levers that came on it are 9 spd xt's so they must have been added. the cranks are compact white industries, syncros seat post. and a beat down selle italia flite recovered in camo duct tape. the lower head...

thanks for the responses...... I will have to check that out. The local bike shop guy here didnt have anything (Revelstoke Canada) Yes I got the cranks used. I have been looking online the biggest spacer i can find is a 5mm. It looks like i will need at least a 10mm to get the spacing right...

where would i get a set of spacers to mount the granny? would the cranks have come with them?

Hi, I have a set of race face turbine five bolt square taper compact drive cranks. I bought them to go on my 96 RM hammer race. I can get the middle and outer chainrings on but the five bolts for the granny(inner ring) are flush with the spider. Its like id need a 10mm spacer between the granny...
