    Schwinn Mesa GSD 2006

Great bike, I bought one of these in 2005 when I got a new job and got back into bikes. It was the orange model with Manitou Six forks. Great spec for the money, £350 and came with a Deore rear mech and Hayes mechanical discs. Sadly got nicked from work around 2008. Yours looks great, enjoy!

ALL BECAUSE OF A PICTURE-A TRIBUTE BUILD FOR A NATIONAL HERO

Re: Great build indeed. Great photos too, those on page 4 of this thread were taken on the Consett to Sunderland sustrans, the old railway line which is part of the C2C. The twisty section is called the Lambton Worm, it's between Chester le Street and Birtley and is great fun to ride of you...

    2002 Kona Lava Dome rebuild

Re: This is a wonderful build, thanks for posting. It's a rare bike, not many of the early 00's Konas are around, especially those in steel. Have you got any updates?

    2002 Kona Lava Dome rebuild

Re: Ah, thanks, could have sworn they had discs, my mistake! Great frames all the same. The last of the proper steel Kona's!

    2002 Kona Lava Dome rebuild

Re: Looks like a nice build indeed. I've also got a 2002 Lava Dome in 18 inch. I think the 2003 version also had a disc brake tab which is sadly missing on the 2002 version. Still a nice frame though!

Sunn Bmix - finally up and running..........

Nice bike! +1 about the bars though, get some low rise cruiser bars on there and some proper pedals, that'd look ace 8)

    1997 Kona Hahanna

Love this bike. That was the Kona I was after in 1997 after saving up on my paper round. I ended up getting a Rockhopper instead, which was nice too. 8) I love 1996-97 Kona's, they just look great.

    1999 Marin Mount Vision Pro

    sunn seasons

That looks like a great bike - I was tempted by one of these frames when they were selling them on CRC. How does it ride?

    1997 for me too.

'95 Kona Fire Mountain Singlespeed Hack

That's a beaut. Isn't it strange how all those parts on that period of Kona just go so well together? The seatpost, stem, headset, P2 forks, they all look great. Much nicer looking than the stuff that comes on modern bikes anyway. It might just be me though!

    1998 klein mantra

Got to love those Azonic bars! 8)

    1996 Kona Koa

I'd keep it the same colour if you get it re-sprayed, Koa's are pretty rare and are nice bikes indeed. Those forks are cool too! 8)

    Rear light recommendations.

I just bought that Smart one the other day for 6 quid, it does seem bright enough indeed. The bracket isn't the best though, and it seems a bit rattly, but then again, I paid 6 quid for the thing, so can't complain really.
