I'm after a chainset for my marin muirwoods to replace the one in the pic.

Got a picture, if these are difficult to get hold of can anyone recommend an alternate chainset? Cheers Paul

Hi My chain snapped recently which led brought me to the conclusion that i need new chainrings and rear cassette. Question is, do the chainrings have to be Shimano Alivio to go with the 7 speed rear cassette which i have already found for £9. What are my options, would any shimano 24/32/42...

Thanks for that juice, it's a 97! I've got a Judy XC shock on the way so will see how that works. Anything will be better than the painfull wrists.

Hi I've had a Muirwoods from new, it's the 95 i think in the blue colour with rigid forks. I love the bike but have been suffering on the hard grounds so thought i'd fit some forks with shocks. I've been looking at Marzocchi Bombers and the like on ebay, not really that bothered about more...
