95 Trek 8700 Just cleaning up the clear coat and putting back together.

Currently stripping, cleaning, re-greasing and freshening up a 95 (or 96) Rockhopper for the wife to ride to work. Spec . . . Cro-mo frame, RS Indy XC forks, STX RC V brakes/levers, STX rear mech, Gripshift. Should be finished by the time my broken hand is fully healed :roll:

here's a 91 Paragon . . . and 91 Mt Tam . . . Both look the same frame wise. I notice my frame doesn't have the rack mounts towards the top of the seat stays like these two bikes do.

Not too sure. HT is 38mm OD. ID of headset is 31mm (ish). Yeah i saw that 92 catalogue. Just assumed i was looking for a 91. Makes sense that even tho the serial says 91 potentially could have been for sale in 92. No triple bottle cage mounts tho.

I've been searching around and havn't seen the same decals on other Fishers so assumed it had been re-stickered. There is a similar style but the font is different.

Hi all, I acquired this GF frame and it looks to have been re-stickered at some stage. Does anyone have any clue what model this is? Serial No. is FS91012917 so i've established that it was built Jan 1991. Looking to restore it so knowing what model it is would be a great start...

Hi guys, I'm trying to identify a GF frame I picked up recently. Looks like it been re-stickered at some stage but going from the serial number (FS91012917) it's a '91. Does anyone know how to decipher the serial number or know of where I can find a 1991 catalogue scan? Cheers, Damian.
