thats interesting about the rear mech because mine had a nasty incident where the mech went into the rear spokes and got ripped off. the thread was absolutely buggered. a mate of mine did a bit of tig weld filling on it for me and a local frame builder tapped it out for me again. happy...

well, i'm 5'11"

so as well as something for the lad (see other ad) i'm after something for myself. Decent in its day, lx, xt, preferably with front shocks. £120-£150. Doesn't need to be perfect, don't mind replacing chain rings etc. nice if the wheels had some life left in them. cheers guys
