    thanks legrandefromage - what a wonderful bike (Konagliders) - I've always loved my Saracen but didn't realise the Conquest had an earlier history - do you know when was the Conquest first released?

    Konaglider - I'm intrigued it looks every bit a Saracen, so why is it branded 'Evans' - must be one of the best preserved Conquests around - very envious!

    Came across a Saracen brochure and price list from Jan 1985. It appears that they were from a few months before the Conquest was released - from what I can remamber I bought my Conquest in Summer - but alas 25 years ago is a long time ago....

    Here's a bike that's seen quite a bit of riding in the British hills - usually with full camping gear attached - along with a friend with his Overbury's Pioneer. Bought this Saracen Conquest back in 1985 for a ride along the Pennine Way from that point on I was hooked. The bike's been over...
