A less than happy experience and no positive resolution. I'm sure I'm one of the unlucky ones but I don't take kindly to insults and an unwillingness to accept a portion of blame for a mistyped ad.

Re: As an update I would have had this finished by now but the chain tensioner I bought form Germany was awful. Just waiting on a conventional chain tensioner and set the chainline. All the other jobs are done. I'd like to get it sold before Christmas but it's a little late now.

Re: Excuse me :) I cross posted being lazy from Pistonheads the car forum. I meant like you would see under a race cars bonnet. Generally all the fittings for hoses are braided with anodised red and blue snap lock fittings made by companies like Earl's or Aeroquip. I'm a diehard petrolhead...

I've got some time tomorrow so hopefully I'll get it out together properly and some proper photos somewhere.

Nearly there. There's still a bit to do so still thrown together but I get excited about what it'll look like.

Re: Cranks now ready to go on. M670 arms with red ano "weaponized" chainring bolts and a 36T chainring (thanks go to dnbmatt28 from here) for that. Quick strip down and rebuild properly and set the chain line and its all done. I guess I had better work out what it's all cost at some point...

Re: I noticed that as well looking at the photo. It is only a dry build at the moment so has to be disassembled and properly greased and thread locked etc. Good spot though :)

Re: Here's a terrible photo from just before I wheeled it into town to my LBC to fit the headset and face the bottom bracket. I really should get a press.. I'll get proper photos in the next day or so.
