Shortened Brooks Swift saddles - Does anyone know about these?

Shortened saddles were often used by stayers (behind big pacer moto's). Because of the regulations. The saddle point wasn't allowed to go over the straight line compared to the bracket. With a shorter saddle you could win some centimeter to sit more to the front. Which is in the benefit of the...

'94 - Maybe Mavic Neutral Service? - GT Edge

Cannondale it was from 2007 till 2014, maybe indeed overseas they made use for what was available. The 'brand' you show here is totaly new for me Till 2004 it was Lite-Speed. In 2015 it was Cannondale till Shimano took over years later. By the way the current blue Shimano neutral bike are...

'94 - Maybe Mavic Neutral Service? - GT Edge

As far as I know GT never provides bikes for the yellow Mavic neutrl service. I knew it were Cannondales till 2014 and than in 2015 Canyon was the brand. In the earliet days...??? Must have been French brands. Nowadays totaly overruled by Shimano. However in some minor races in France Mavic is...

Here my tribute. It has been ABOUT OUT 🤣 for just one occasion. A testride with one of my (adult) children. It was a strange experience for me. Like riding bike for the first time. As a captain as well as a stoker... Gitane Rallye 1708 from 1980. To be real honest it was the second time. The...

    Clincher vs Tubular

I use(d) both, clicher and tubular. Due to earlier days, in my racings days I used tubulars, glued on the rims. It is a little bit of works, but a rider has to do it himself I think, to get convident about your material. I repair tubulars all my life and never had problems. Saying once repaired...
