Cheers RockiMtn. I seem to be pretty unlucky regarding customs and have easily had half of the items I've bought outside the EU stopped and charged for. It sucks! Hopefully there's a post out there somewhere!

If we assume postage to be ~15 dollars for an air service, added to the cost of the post we're looking at $65 or ~£43. If it gets stopped by customs, there's the potential of say another ~£10 on top plus Royal Mail's frankly ridiculous handling fee of another £8. It could end up costing north...

I did think about a shimmed post, but really want something the correct diameter. I'm just over 100kg, so I don't want to risk having the post sinking into the frame beneath my heft! Cheers

I saw your Thomson yesterday. It's tempting, but taking into account the postage cost and the potential for customs and Royal Mail taking an extra wad from me I think I'll stick to UK only. Cheers all the same. :)

If it was a 27.0 I'd have snapped your arm off, but alas, a 27.2 hasn't a snows chance in hell of fitting (believe me I've tried)! Cheers anyhow. :)

I really, really need a 27.0mm seatpost for my '02 Kona Lava Dome. The current EA50 I have is 350mm, and is doing my knees in something chronic. Ideally I'm after a USE Alien or Thomson, or something from Easton or similar for ~ £30, preferably in good condition. What have you got?
