    now I'm confused, according to the first page: 7 is the model number. Exclude the Ti bikes and work down the list eg. 1 Team Issue 2 Team Marin 3 Pine Mountain 4 Eldridge grade 5 Bear Valley 6 Muirwoods 7 Palisades Trail 8 Bobcat Trail then BV is a 52, but some were apparently...

    not sure that your holdsworth is a "nuovo record" mine has the name in itallics along the top tube near the headset and as far as i know they wern't chromed. they produced this model for a year in 1982. i know of 3 others, all in the usa and all 4 have serial numbers within 100 of each other...

    have 2 old bikes: 1982 holdsworth nuovo record, kitted out with campag and ergo's 1970 something holdsworth mistral single speed with a nice amount of chomre. will post pictures when i get some decent ones.
